Well glory be...Woohoo! First time in the new parking structure! In the Esplanade, this vehicle was on display. It's pretty cool but I would have chosen a different vehicle. Maybe it's just me but a mini van doesn't seem like the right fit. They wanted to be sure everyone knew that DCA would be closing early... Not sure what's getting updated here... I popped into Elias & Co. to see if there was anything new..... Ooooh a Hocus Pocus Dooney! I got such a kick out of the way Pluto was signing autographis! I told Pluto that I was a cat lady but he was OK with it because my purse had Disney cats on it. A few of these cool screen fences lined the walkway next to the Wilderness Creek Challenge Trail. It was open but I decided that I really wanted to see it at night so I opted to wait until I attend the Oggie Boogie Bash on October 3rd. Yes, I went back for more Disney Christmas cheer! Get comfortable folks, this is going to be a long post! I'll share all of my pics with you today and then post videos tomorrow. You're welcome! The shooting gallery looks mighty festive, doesn't it? The Haunted Mansion was experiencing a few problems so while I waited, I attempted to take a pictures...I am quite surprised at how well the iPhone 5 does! I got to the Park or should I say, the area near the Park at 9:30 and the parking structure was already full! I got sent over to the Simba parkinig lot and by the time I actually walked through the gate at Disneyland, it was 10:40! Sheesh! My friends and I had a lunch reservation at Cafe Orleans for 12:50 wo we checked in a few minutes early and sat down to admire the decorations... After lunch which consisted of the Monte Cristo, we waddled over to Big Thunder Ranch. I had so much fun checking everything out that I didn't take many photos. Oops...

This is my FAVORITE time of year and I love it even more when Disneyland gets into the swing of things! On Thursday, September 25th, I spent a leisurely day at the park, just enjoying the decorations. Before going under the train tracks, I paused to photograph this sign. Mind you, I know nothing about the movie other than it doesn't really appeal to me but I know there are many of you out there that ARE looking forward to this. If you are an Annuel Passholder you can catch a preview in Tomorrowland. I met up with a couple of friends and we made our way to Innoventions. I've always enjoyed the view from up here because it reminds me of when I was able to ride the Skyway and enjoy viewing Disneyland from above. I had not seen the Iron Man exhibit and on this day I was only able to get a glimpse of it as there were soooo many people waiting to check it out.
